Potential for Low Water:
The water may be low with obstacles. The event will take place at Moore River regardless. Trailing rudders are recommended. Entrants who drop out will be refunded
Medals:
Medals will be awarded for Mixed Double Championships on the day, note there will be no medal category for Mixed at Marathon States, this is it. Medals will be awarded according to the same age group categories as Marathon State Championships and all who make the podium wil receive a medal. If the pairing is mixed age group, the decider is the younger paddler for 19 and above and the older paddler for 18 and under. The age group categories will be deduced by the organisers at the time of preparingthe start lists. This race will qualify for Paddler of the Year points for Doubles but NOT Singles.

Team boat members register separately, enter mates names in entry. Last opportunity to pay season prepaid. Rego closes mid-night Thursday before.

Display number vertically on boat [Number holders $15 at rego]
COURSE DESCRIPTIONS:
Long Course [11.3km]:
Start Guilderton Boat Ramp, upstream, right of Diamond Island at 3 km, continue upstream to island 500m past Barragoon Rd boat ramp. Turn anti-clockwise around island [Outriggers turn anti-clockwise at buoy to left of Island]. Return downstream, pass onn right of Diamond Island. Finish line at Start location.
Short Course [6.5km]:
Turn anti-clockwise round Diamond Island, return to start.
Guppy Course:
From start line, upstream to flag bottom of Sand Dunes. Land on beach, run up sand dune around upper flag. Back to Finish Line, same as Start.
Courses will be modified if water is too low
