Southland Regional Track Championships 2025

Southland Track Cycling Championships will take place from Friday 6 December to Sunday 8 December at the SIT ZeroFees Velodrome.

All participating riders need to hold a valid Cycling New Zealand racing licence. All riders will be required to be licened in their 2025 age group.  There is a $25 registration fee, plus an entry fee of $15 per event - if you take part in five events that would mean an entry fee of $25+$75=$100 is payable. Payment by credit card using online payment system Stripe at time of registration. Age groups may be combined in a race should numbers require, but there will be separate podiums and medals awarded. In the event a category or race has less than 4 riders in it then a gold medal only will be awarded to the winner of the event. 

The event is open to licensed riders from other centres, but riders from other centres will only be awarded a medal should they win an event overall. In those cases, a second gold medal will be awarded to the first Southland rider in the event. There will be dedicated pursuits, flying 200 and time trials for para cyclists, but they are also welcome to enter any of the other events available for their particular age category (for example the U19 scratch race or Elite sprint).
