The 2025 PaddleNSW Harbour Racing Series is brought to you by PaddleNSW in partnership with Tango Charlie Lights. This race is hosted by Sydney Harbour Surf Club
Members of PA affiliated Clubs will need their PA Membership Number for entry. If you don't know your PA Membership number, contact PA Membership Services : Email - membership@paddle.org.au Phone: 1300 232 398 (Option 2) When entering your Membership details (Name, DOB, Member#) please enter the information in EXACTLY the format requested.
ALL paddlers must complete the event registration. For the avoidance of doubt, that means BOTH paddlers in a Double, and ALL paddlers in anything bigger.
Life Jackets and Leg Leashes are mandatory for all paddlers Competitors are to drop-off their craft and park elsewhere.
Check-in from 7am to 8.15am
Race Starts 8:25am Wave 1 – Long Course: · Female: 50+ and older · Male: 60+ and older · All Juniors · All OC1 & 2, and Sea Kayak
8:35am Wave 2 – Long Course: • Female: Open & 40+ • Male: Open, 40+, & 50+ • All Double Skis
8:38am Wave 3 - Short Course: • All craft, all ages (including SUP)
Boat Numbers Collect boat numbers from paddler check-in. Return boat numbers immediately after you finish paddling. You need to bring your own Race Number holder. These can be purchased when you register or at the event. Remove old HR Series stickers from your craft before you participate in this series.
- Remember to wear a high vis-cap and carry a storm whistle (to attract the attention of the safety vessels and other paddlers)
- Don't forget your number holder (you can purchase one at check-in)
- All paddlers must wear a PFD
- Ski and SUP paddlers must wear a leg leash (only one paddler in a team boat needs to wear a leg leash)
- We recommend you carry some form of communication (such as a mobile phone, PLB or flare).
- Water is limited so bring everything you need to clean your boat after the race - Most importantly, have fun!
