Get ready for an unforgettable adventure at the Deep Water Solo Climbing Festival in Muscat, Oman!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 5th, 2024, as climbers from all over gather at the stunning Barr Al Jissah for a day filled with adrenaline, amazing views, and friendly competition climbing. The event kicks off early at 7:30 AM, with a traditional Omani Dhow setting off promptly at 8:00 AM from Bandr Al Rowdah. The event will last until 4.00 PM where the winners will be announced followed by a raffle of prizes as we make our way back to the marina.
Whether you’re a seasoned climber or new to the sport, this festival offers a friendly, open competition that promises excitement for everyone. The competition format will be announced soon, adding an extra layer of anticipation.
Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before the event, as ONLY lunch and water will be provided throughout the day. The registration fee to participate in the event is 25 OMR / 250 AED / 70 USD. This is an 18+ event and we ask that anyone entering be able to swim and float comfortably in the water and are of good health as well as having their own climbing shoes.
Be sure to finalize your registration, liability form and pay through bank transfer by September 20th 2024 to secure your spot. Payments can be made via Bank Transfer in the UAE or Oman or PayPal, with a simple process to confirm your registration. Once you have paid then you have officially registered and you’ll receive a welcome pack filled with essential details to help you prepare for the festival.
Please note that while we strive to ensure the event goes off without a hitch, refunds will only be provided if the event is canceled or postponed. Should weather conditions force us to delay the festival, we’ll keep you informed well in advance. If cancellation becomes necessary, refunds will be issued minus any bank fees.
