TEAM CAPTAIN/TEAM INFORMATION

When the team captain registers for the race, he/she will only give the team captain's personal information and your team name. 

 

The Race Director will communiciate with the team captain several weeks before the race to collect your team and teammates' information (including teammates' names, emergency contacts, t-shirt sizes, team pace, etc.)  

 

TEAM PACE/START and FINISH TIMES

We will assign start times several weeks before the race based on pace. We are anticipating the first wave to begin around 5:30 AM, with runners starting every 30 minutes until around 8 AM. We plan to close the course at 3 PM. 

CANCELLATION / WEATHER

This is a rain-or-shine event. The Race Director has the right to change the course or change the event in case of inclement weather or state restrictions. 

 

LOCATION

Packet pick-up and the race will begin at Hunter-Kinard-Tyler High School, 7066 Norway Road, Neeses, SC 29107. We will wind 39 miles between Norway, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden, SC. 

 

WAIVERS

Each teammate will need to turn in their signed waivers the morning of the race. 

 

RACE LEGS

Leg 1-HKT to Cotton Top-approx. 5 miles 

Leg 2-Cotton Top to Davis' Farm House- 4.9 miles 

Leg3-Davis’ Farm House to Southeastern Housing and Community Development Warehouse – approx. 6 miles 

Leg 4- SHCDW to Denmark Park – 4.8 miles 

Leg 5- Denmark Park to Finland Dairy – 5.6 miles 

Leg 6- Finland Dairy to Zissett’s – 4.65 miles 

Leg 7- Zissett’s to Willow Swamp Baptist– 4.27 miles 

Leg 8- Willow Swamp Baptist to 3 Crosses-3.66 miles  

TEAM CATEGORIES (Teams can be 1-8 people.)

Ultra (1-2 runners. Once registered, contact the race director for more information.)
Open Co-ed (minimum of 2 females)
Open  (all-male team or all males plus 1 female)
Open Female (all females)
Masters  (all-male team or all males plus 1 female, all members 40+)
Masters Female (all females, all members 40+)
