We can’t wait to see you at this year’s ‘Devil of a Swim’! Challenge yourself and sign up for the 1, 2 or 5 kilometre ocean swim at Bicheno, on Tasmania’s east coast.
The endurance 5km race will follow a clockwise course from Waubs Beach along the coast and around Diamond Island. This allows swimmers to follow a shallower route along Redbill Beach, to the checkpoint on the sandbar. Swimmers will then be assessed for their capacity to continue the race around Diamond Island. Cut-off time for this 2 kilometre checkpoint in the race will be 1 hour. After circling the island, swimmers will turn at a buoy on the island side of the sandbar and head straight back to the start/finish point at Waubs Beach.
The shorter races will be around a series of buoys out off Waubs Beach.
Particpants in the 5km, 2km and 1km swim must be over 12 years of age.
The Kids swim, along Waubs Beach, has no minimum age requirement.

$15 - Kids swim along Waubs beach
$30 - 1km
$40 - 2km
$70 - 5km
After 23 March entries will be an additional $10.

5 km race starts at 8:30am - Check-in 7:30-8:15am
1km & 2km race starts at 10:40am - Check-in 9:15-10:20am
Kids swim along Waubs Beach race starts at 11:25 -Check-in 9:15-10:20am
Race briefings will be 15 mins prior to race start.
