2024 Run for the Meatball

2024 Run for the Meatball…. LIVE…..SUNDAY FEBRUARY 25th, 2024 This will be a Timed Race An annual event on the calendar, the Run for the Meatball is a 5 km race that attracts between 80-120 participants. The race begins at 10:15 am for walkers and 10:30 am for runners. The race is an out-and-back starting at the RITA STREET PARKING LOT at beautiful Boulevard Lake. We will run down and across the wonderful, wide, rebuilt dam, looping around in front of St. Ignatius High School and returning over the dam back to Rita Street Parking lot. Registration fee includes a delicious spaghetti and meatball lunch with salad (Meat and Meatless Sauce) at the Knights of Columbus Hall (at the corner of Arthur and May Street) after the race (11:30 hall opens, Lunch at 12:00 noon). Lunch will be followed by awards and draw prizes. The event should wrap up just after 1:30pm. We will also offer a take-out option to pick up your Spaghetti Lunch at 2:00 PM if you don’t want to participate in the live Lunch. Prizes are awarded for the top female, male and Non-Binary. All race entrants in attendance are eligible for draw prizes. REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Wednesday February 21, 2023 at midnight.
