Old 299 - Lord Ellis Summit

The ride will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. leaving from Taylor Way in Blue Lake. It will be a neutral start with a RCMBA representative leading the way.

The route will take us out Railroad Avenue and to Korbel. We will access the gate and pass through the mill site as a group. Once through the mill site neutral restrictions are off and riders will proceed to Lord Ellis Summit. Riders will turn right onto Snow Camp Road climb for a few more miles then decend onto Bald Mountain Road and execute another right turn. A LEFT turn onto Maple Creek Road will take you to lower Ward road on which you will follow the route signs all the way back to Korbel and Blue Lake.

The ride is roughly 38 miles with about 4500 feet of climbing. The surface it mostly dirt and gravel with enough pot-holed pavement to keep things interesting.

Please be self sufficient and know your limitations; there is no event support along the route. Day of Ride Contact (DoRC) information will be identified on the morning of the event.
