POSTPONED Somerset Surf Enduro 2023 - Board Races

Saturday, September 16, 2023 The event will be held in adherence to Covid-19 regulations.

The long course will be a 12km downwind course, starting from either Wynyard Yacht Club Jetty or Burnie Yacht Club and finishing in front of Somerset SLSC. 

ENDURO 12km Events

Race Check in at the location (Wynyard or Burnie) and is open from 11:00am.  Briefing will follow at 11:15am.

Race Start 12pm

Safety equipment required: hi-vis vests, flare or phone and leg ropes.

12km competitors single file please over the finish line to ensure accurate recording of places.

BOARD RACES

The board races will be held on a 4km and 2km course off Somerset Beach.

Board Race Check in will open from 9:00am

Briefing 9:15 for a 10:00am Start

All boat and IRB retrievals will be west of the Somerset SLSC Clubhouse It is expected that competing clubs assist with water safety (please contact Mark Anderson for more information 0437257015). Parking will be on the grass west of the clubhouse. Food and drink for purchase will be available.
