Hastings Harrier Club welcomes you to Ruahapia Road for the 2023 Hawkes Bay - Gisborne Road Race Champs on Sunday, August 20, 2023.
Please click on the 'Map' link above to get the exact location of this event. Please park on Otene Road. There is then a 300m walk, over the railway and along the side of Ruahapia Road to the start line, registration and toilets. Please collect your timing chip from registration.
Start Times & Distances for races will be as follows:
10.30am - 1km - U8 Boys, U8 Girls
10.33am - 2km - U10 Boys, U10 Girls
10.33am - 2km - U12 Boys, U12 Girls
10.40am - 3km - U14 Boys, U14 Girls
10.40am - 4km - U16 Boys, U16 Girls
10.41am - 4km - Senior (over 15) Social Members**
11.00am - 5km - Masters Women, U20 Women, U18 Women
11.00am - 6km - U18 Men
11.00am - 8km - U20 Men
11.00am - 10km - Senior Men, Senior Women, Masters Men
** All ANZ registered Social Members - please select this race category. The championship races are only open to full ANZ members.
The 5km and 3km races will do the 2km lap(s) first and finish with a 1km loop.
A prizegiving will happen after each race, with the presentation of medals for all championship placegetters.
Clubs will be invoiced for entry fees after the event - $5 for over 12 years and $3 for under 12 years.
