Welcome to BIG CLARENCE Paddleboard Classic A 40km flatwater river race held from Copmanhurst to Grafton upon the magnificent Clarence River  NSW.  The event is open to the individual paddler - 2 person and 3-person relay combinations categorized by combined age bands to be notified during briei. Teams can be Mixed gender, all female or all male using same craft category Combined aged teams must contain at least 2 teams to be eligible for an award. Participants are encouraged to attend briefing the night before at event HQ "The Crown Hotel" Grafton, to receive boat number be briefed on all things race orientated . If  the event is cancelled paddlers will receive a full refund of fees up until 2 weeks prior to start date. If the event is cancelled within 2 weeks of event start a 50% refund will be given for event fees. Option will also be provided to carry over fees to the following year.  Event fees day 1,  40km  relay or individual -$80 per adult,  Junior 18years and under $40 . Day 2 SPRINT course  Adult- $20 Junior- $20. Pay Pal or bank transfer only payment method. Day 1 entrants receive a race singlet inclusive to Rego fees. All Day 2 entrants receive event race hat inclusive to Rego fees. Individual paddlers Day 1,  40km , expect to be finish distance between 4 and 6 hours.  Relay members please  record combined ages of the 2 or  3 paddlers in registration form,  . PLEASE notify admin at event sign on during registration the night before or before start.  Day 2 SPRINT will consist of a handicapped start format  ,on a set  course that suits the river conditions at that time.  Start will be located in front of "Crown Hotel, 9am .Sprint course will include  buoy turns and the distance will be no less than 800 meters. Racers will be handicapped by age ,board length, ,gender  and previous day result.  Day 2 will be finished by 11am followed by a BBQ and short award ceremony
