Pursuit Style Format Biathlon Race, 10 sec Interval start.
Event location is Ariens Nordic Center. We will be using the newly snowed southern trail system. Penalty loop has been created as well.

10K, PPSS - Age 15 - Adult Females and Males, 150 M penalty lap
6K, PPSS, Age 15 - Adult - alternative shorter race, 150 M penalty lap
6K, PPPP Age 13 & 14 (U15) Male and Female, 75 M penalty lap
4.5K PP Youth Novice (air rifle or 22) at standing targets off blocks, Male and Female
4.5K PP NOVICE race age 11 - adult (no experience needed. Athletes will ski on their own, and be coached for shooting with local club volunteers, rifles and ammo)

P = Prone shooting, S = Standing

NOTE: NO same day registration. Payment due at race day.
This is an OPEN race for USBA "Red Book" safety certified biathletes and youth in a USBA biathlon program. U15 and U13 biathletes will not be carrying a rifle. Competitive U15 biathletes are encouraged to race up in the U19 age group.

$ 15 for Youth through 21 (min age of 10 to participate)
$ 20 Adults over 21

additional $20 event fee for each athlete payable to Ariens Nordic Center.

A "Competitor" level annual USBA membership or "member for a day" is required to cover race liability insurance, except for youth and Novice.

IMPORTANT:

Bring exact cash or check for payment to event payable to BayNordic Ski Club. Parent must accept waiver for minors.
