Hello Paddlers!

We are excited to bring you two days of racing in North Vancouver! Sign up for The Whipper....The Snapper....or double down and complete The Whipper Snapper!

Here is a brief breakdown of the events for each day. See the website for more specific details:

Day 1 - The Whey Ah Wichen Whipper
Location: Cates Park/Whey Ah Wichen, North Vancouver
18km Championship Distance
12km Mid Distance
7km Short Course

Day 2 - The Panorama Snapper (Paddleboard event only)
Location - Panorama Park, Deep Cove, North Vancouver
5km Technical Race - SUP, Prone, U18
2.5km Technical Race - Junior and Inflatable
200m Sprints - SUP

These events are open to all paddlers who are confident in their ability to safely complete their chosen distances. This means that racers must all be self sufficient on the water and have the ability to self rescue. Racers must all be wearing a PFD and Leash at all times during these events.

While these races are open to paddlers of all abilities we are also proud to be crown Provincial Surfski Champions as sanctioned by Canoe Kayak BC, as well as National SUP Champions as sanctioned by Surf Canada. See the website for more details on these titles.

General Race Information

- For a category to podium it must have 3 or more persons registered to race in it.
- The first 100 racers to register will receive a race jersey!
- Racers who register before end of day Friday August 19 are guaranteed their preferred jersey size
-All racers are automatically entered into the draw for draw prizes
-Race registration includes food!
