MOOLOOLABA PADDLERS BEACH TO BEACH OCEAN PADDLE


Welcome to the Sunshine Coast Mooloolaba Paddler Beach to Beach Ocean Paddle race. The event will start at Moffat Beach or Mudjimba beach depending on wind conditionsfinishing at Mooloolaba. If inclement weather the 16km race will be held in the Maroochy river as part of our contingency plan.

Entry Fees



Early Entry $65 per paddler (includes race shirt) until extended until 22th May
Standard Entry $65 per paddler (no race shirt)
Double Ocean ski, OC2 teams - $110, OC3 - $165, and OC6 - $250

REGISTRATION


Please select Individual (single) when registering for Individual.
Please select l Team for a Double Ski, OC 2, OC 3, and OC 6s select your craft category and then under gender Male, Female or Male/Female.

SIGN ON REGISTRATION


COVID 19 Restrictions. All paddlers must adhere to 1.5mtr social distancing rules at registration.
Registration and race start will be published live on Facebook at 5pm on Friday, and sent via email.

Only competitors can access the registration area. Each competitor will be given an envelope containing a lanyard with a chip, and a wristband with your number on it. Please wear the lanyard around your neck and place your wristband on left wrist.

WAVE STARTS


There will be 3 waves (any changes will be posted on FB, amd via email)
Start Time for 1st WAVE 830am going at 5 minute intervals.
Start will be a deep water start. between two buoys.
Prones, and Sups, Outriggers, Ocean Skis, Spec Skis, Double Skis

THE RULES


By entering the Mooloolaba Paddler Beach to Beach Ocean Paddle race you agree to compete you must have:
1. Skis jacket style PFD
2. Outriggers, SUP, and Prone paddlers must wear inflatable bum bag type life jackets, or Ski style PFD
3. Single and double ski/ outrigger phone.
4. All craft must have a leash attached at all times with HIV shirt/singlet/ life jacket
