CAMPSkateIA registration is now closed EXCEPT for Certifications in Level 1, 2 and Skate Park.
The camp occurs May 21st & 22nd, 2022 in Torrance, CA (Los Angeles).
Please note as of 5/6/22 we are at 70 attendees and will likely run out of tees. We will substitute 2020 camp shirts if possible. But we do have the cool swag for y'all and have not run out of that yet!
CAMP is open to all adult quad and inline skaters. Youth may attend but with a parent accompanying them at ALL times The registration date above should be ignored.
Hours: Friday Night Skate Hosted by LA Friday Night Skate – route to be determined
Saturday, May 21st, 2022 Noon – 9:45pm. Noon-1pm welcome, stretching, skate maintenance. 1-6pm classes on the rink. 7pm to 9:45pm the DISCO
Sunday May 22nd 10am to Noon – Classes at the Veteran’s Skate Park Learn or expand your Skate Park Skills. 1-6pm Classes at the rink
Camp Skate IA is the only camp/workshop of it' kind in North America. Come to Skate CAMP to level up your skills - GET KNOWLEDGEABLE feedback on your skills. TikTok is great, but the feedback will accelerate your skating. You will also meet and skate with other skaters who share your passion and make new skate friends! Classes include: basic fundamentals; dance; jam; slalom; race, artistic; skate park and more!
SkateIA Instructors: enjoy a free Instructor Only Day on Friday May 20th, 10am to 5pm.
Instructor Certifications: Level 2 & Skate Park occur on Tues/Wed May 17th & 18th with a zoom call the week prior. Level 1 Certification occurs following camp on Mon/Tues May 23 & 24 with zoom call a week prior. All Level 1 Candidates can attend Instructor Day.
