We are excited to announce that Travis Grant, one of the top elite stand up paddlers in the world (fresh off his second place finish at the 2014 Molokai to Oahu Classic) will be conducting a special SUP technique workshop at Gorge Performance on August 21st. Travis is coming to town for the 2014 Columbia Gorge Challenge in Hood River and will be stopping in Portland to share his unique mastery of efficient SUP paddling in this fun, focused and personalized seminar.

Participants will learn the fundamentals and fine points of the perfect forward stroke with specific drills and instruction first on land, then on the water. Travis will utilize his depth of knowledge and experience to ensure that each paddler understands how to optimize his or her stroke mechanics for hours of fun, fast and pain free SUP paddling. Attendees will also have the opportunity to demo the latest, state of the art NSP race boards. There is nothing like instruction from the pros!

Participants will need to bring their board, paddle and pfd. All levels of paddler are welcome.
