Mike Carney Group Triathlon- Race 4 - Team Aquathon

Event Details:

Date: Sunday June 26th

Location: Rockpool The Strand

Time: Race Start - 07:00am 

The 4th race gives you the opportunity to race with a someone, (teams of 2) and have some fun,  All competitors will get the same points for the race.  So this one is about participation and fun, as well as getting to know someone else, who you might learn a bit more about the sport from.  You will need to cross the line together.  Teams will be made up of all male all female or mixed, it doesn't matter as you will all be racing the same category on this one, and all earn the same points.  You race together and complete all the laps as a team.  Spot prizes for the teams having the most fun!

Now here is the catch - you won't know who your team mate is until the day of the race, when you check in you will be paired with a team mate.  Remember this is fun!  Wherever you come at the end (and you must finish within 3 meters of each other) all teams will receive 100 points.  These will be divided between you and your team member, and form part of the series.  Make Sure you enter as an individual, and you will be put in a team on the day randomly drawn.

Points: Participation points 100 per person.

Distance and format:
Distances: Adult S:400 - R:1km X 6 laps 
Junior: S:100 R:500 S:100 R:500
