Run the “Pizza Run 5K/Kids Run”, to benefit Desert Mission Food Bank. It's a fun, family run/walk on a beautiful Saturday morning, all ages and ability levels are welcome!

Desert Mission offers several free and reduced cost food programs, nutrition education, and resource and referral services. You can volunteer or donate directly at Desert Mission..

Cost: $30 - 5K, Kids 1 Mile - $20 (Register early, the 5K price will increase $5 on 1/17). This event is limited to only 175 participants, so register early to save your spot!

All participants receive a custom Pizza medal, lapel pin and a slice of Papa John's pizza!. No packet pickup is necessary. Race day check in starts from 7:30 - 8:45 am. The 5K race is scheduled to start at 9:00 am, so please arrive early! The race is chip timed with age group awards in 14 categories and Water, Gatorade, snacks and popsicles will be provided.

The flat canal course is located at AZ Falls, 5802 E. Indian School Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018 with overflow parking located at the Lutheran church, just North of the park off 56th Street.

Kids 1 Mile Run (16 and under): Arrive between 9 - 9:45 am for check in. Start time will be 10 am. Kids may run 1 mile or less to earn their Pizza medal and special treat at the finish. (No timing or awards) **Parents may run with their child, but no medal awarded (Use the 5k option to receive a medal).

Virtual option: If you can’t make the date, you may run your race virtually on any day, time or course that you choose. Simply report back your finishing time on RunYourRaceAZ.com. Race packets will be mailed during race week, if not available sooner. (The Virtual option IS NOT available for the Kids race).

Our events are both dog and stroller friendly, but the course does include a short trail section that is not on pavement.
