As the annual Fred Ogle Memorial and Lynley MacDonald Cycle Event had to be cancelled due to Covid restrictions, we have come up with a Strava Challenge Event that will run from Monday 15th to Sunday 28th November 2021 (to align with Strava tracking weeks).

Participants can take part in all challenges or just some of the challenges.

The cycling challenges will be tracked via Strava:
- All participating riders will need to join the Marsden Wheelers Club on Strava
- All participating riders must register for the challenge so we know who is taking part
- No manual entry rides will be take into account in final results
- We request all participants be honest in their rides

Challenge Categories are:
- Longest Distance - Single Ride
- Highest Metres Ascended - Single Ride
- Longest Time (moving) - Single Ride
- Single Ride with most Kudos
- Total Distance - Total over 2 weeks
- Total Metres Ascended - Total over 2 weeks
- Strava Segment - Mount Tiger Loop (Beach Rd to Abbey Caves Rd)
- Strava Segment - Pohe Island Roundabout to Onerahi Yacht Club (via bike path) - Mystery time (not the fastest not the slowest but the person getting closest to the mystery time)

Prizes for each challenge category will be vouchers $100 (1st place), $50 (2nd place) and $25 (3rd place).

While the event is open to anyone but to be eligible for prizes you must be resident in New Zealand.
