Welcome to the Bray Lake Watersports Ice Breaker Series for 2021/22

Once again the Bray Lake Watersports winter racing returns bring you five races in our 2021 series organised by
Haywood Sports.

The Bray Lake Watersports Ice Breaker Series is open to all, with each race being a stand-alone event and forming part of the overall winter race series. If you complete three or more races, you will automatically be entered into the overall series standings for your Division. Your series ranking is classified from your best three results.

The entry cost is £15 for each race, and if you pre-register for all five races, the final race will be free. If you register for a race or the series, there is no need to book a launch slot directly via Bray Lake's website.

The Bray Lake Watersports racing uses a division classification to categorise competitors. There are five divisions, and paddlers are classified using their time over a 2km distance. Your race division will be used throughout the series, and you must compete on the same board in each race. If you change boards, you must complete a new 2km time trial to update your Division.

What are the race divisions?
Your time over 2km is used to align to the below divisions.
Division 1 – 13:29 and under
Division 2 – 13:30 – 14:59
Division 3 – 15:00 – 16:29
Division 4 – 16:30 – 17:59
Division 5 – 18:00 and over

Details on how to set your Division and provide evidence of this can be
found here.
