Champion Lakes Boating Club “Relay Rumble” Marathon Sun 16th May
New event in a new spot, come and have some fun !

Location:
Champion Lakes Regatta Centre, Henley Dr, Champion Lakes

Team & Course Details:
Teams of Two Boats [singles or doubles] - Relay legs are laps with a max 100m Run to boat [not with boat] to end of Handover – Each team of two boats does Four Laps, Boats alternate within the Team of Two [two laps each]

If you don’t have a team partner, enter on your own. We’ll pair you up on the day
If you can’t run at handover, we’ll arrange a runner

Long Course: …………..Four 4km laps
Short/Guppy Course: ….Four 2km laps

Boat Choice:
In this first year of the event, the organisers prefer to limit it to double-bladed paddle craft [kayaks and skis] to ensure as good a safety as possible in the change-over area. This will be reviewed after this inaugural event.

Registrations close midnight Thur 13th May
All entrants register individually and nominate team member [or “please find me a partner”]

Age Groups:
Long Courses: Both Adult and Junior can go in Long Course [Juniors are 16 in 2021 & Below]
Short Course: Both Adult and Junior can go in Short Course [Juniors are 16 in 2021 & Below]
Guppy: 12 in 2021 and below

Fees: [Includes Sausage Sizzle + drink]

Adult single: ...............$25.10 for PWA members or ...... .$35.10 non-members.
Any age U18 single: ..$20.10 for PWA members or ....... $25.10 non-members.

Late Entry:
At discretion of grumpy Race Director

Race Day Schedule:
Registration 8:00 am
Briefing (All paddlers) 8.30 am
Race Start 9.00 am.
Presentations 11.00 am. [Earlier if possible]
