Event notes
GH 2.2 Prosser is a COVID-compliant gravel course you navigate on your bike in the hills of the Yakima Valley Wine Country around Prosser, Washington. It’s a bit like orienteering, but different in some aspects, because you don’t have a map or a compass. You won't know exactly where you're going, but your trusty phone will help you out. The emphasis is on bike riding and discovery using simple phone tools, not hardcore navigational skills or a Deliverance-like ordeal.

GH 2.2 comes in 3 sizes
- the Long Course is 67 miles with 3,500 feet of climbing
- the Medium Course is 41 miles with 2,550 feet of climbing
- the Short Course is 21 miles with 1,000 feet of climbing

This is not an event. You're purchasing access to a course like buying a guidebook or map, but(!) you won't know where you're going!

You can ride whenever you like between Friday, April 16, and Sunday, May 2 (when I take the course down). Pick your day to ride, based on weather, work, your astrology sign, whatever.

You can register in one of 5 categories - Men Solo, Women Solo, Men's Team, Women's Team, or Mixed Team.

After you register, I'll send you a start location and tell you how to find a a QR code to scan. It will open up a coordinate-based location on Google Maps, and then you navigate your way to that location. Once at the location, you’ll look for the checkpoint, which will be in the form of a QR code with a coordinate for the next checkpoint. String them all together, and you’ll be back at your starting point.

You can time your ride with the QR codes, but
I'm making a decision to scale back the competitive part and taking out the cash prizes. Webscorer will still list the race results. And I've reduced the fees to $10 per rider. There's also an option to just get the course as a route and skip the navigation parts.
