Event notes
We are looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday, here is what to expect:

COVID 19 Traffic Light System
We will be requiring all riders, officials, marshalls and spectators to present their Vaccine Passport if we are planning to attend the event as we will have more than 100 people attending.

Club membership
We will be requiring all riders to present their current club membership on the hive pass app. No membership, no ride. Join at https://join.hivepass.co.nz/mtbtga or pay $10 on the day for a day membership.

Event specific information
The course will consist of three stages. Beeftub, GT Track into Cliff Hanger & Corona. We will be marking the course on Friday & Saturday.
Parking will be open from 8.45am to 9.45am.
Registration will kick off at 9.00am (if you have a number plate at home, bring it!)
Briefing from 9.45am and riders will start rollout at 10.00am in 15s gaps.

Parking
Parking will take place in the stumpies paddock. Continue up Reid road until you find a marshall in high vis and follow their directions. (We may have alternative parking plans in place if the weather compromises the paddock). IN NO CASE SHOULD ANYONE BE CROSSING OR RIDING UP AND DOWN REID ROAD!

Weather compromises
The conditions certainly aren't going to be dusty this weekend. But it is quite common for Summerhill to dodge the worst of the weather that Tauranga gets. So fingers crossed we can run the event this time in a safe fashion.
Our major concerns are... Parking and rider safety.

Follow the marshals instructions on the day for parking if the weather is compromising.
In the event where the rain is seriously heavy and there is a likelihood that trees will fall we will have to postpone the event.

We will send an update email the night before the race to all registrants with any updates if the weather looks threatening!

We're aiming to wrap up around 3.00pm/3.30pm. If its a nice afternoon we will be having a shared kai, so bring a plate!
