Event notes
CAMP SkateIA run for two days on August 21st & 22nd for the general public 10am to 5pm and August 20th for SkateIA Instructors 10am to 5pm. If you have issues registering, please call Trish 206-276-9328 or trish@skateia.org. We are paying to rent the entire facility so skate park, rink and oval will be our exclusive use--this is an expensive undertaking--so we appreciate your support of this event.
CAMP Skate IA is open to all Adult inline & quad skaters and offers between 25 and 50 different classes.
Camp Skate IA is the only camp/workshop of it's kind in North America. Come to Skate CAMP to up your level, learn new moves/tricks/methods and basic techniques. You will also meet and skate with other skaters who share your passion.
Classes include: basic through advanced fundamentals; race/trail; dance; jam; slalom; artistic; skate park and more! Our schedule will begin to take shape in May.
For those skaters who are interested in becoming instructors can take our Level 1, Level 2 or Skate Park certifications. We hope to have Slalom Certification but it is not yet confirmed. Certs occur: August 12th on Zoom at 6pm EST before camp and then in person Tuesday/Wednesday August 17 & 18th.
The CAMP is located at the John Guidant Outdoor oval in Roseville Minnesota with nearby Minneapolis/St.Paul (MSP) airport 15 miles from the venue & hotel. The Host Hotel is the Holiday Inn Express. Book by July 24th. There is a skate park and cement rink on the interior of the oval - all are located outdoors so no shade over classes, but great for non-covid exposure.

NO REFUNDS once you are registered. Event organizer is not responsible for weather, travel, and other challenges in attending event. Kids must be accompanied by a parent/guardian the entire time at CAMP. It is our 11th year, and it is life changing.
