2021 WA Nordic Cup Race #3-
Sunday, 2/28 - Skate Kings Court Sprint


Plain Valley Nordic Team will be hosting 3 WA Nordic Cup inter-team time trials that are not open to the public. These will all be Covid Compliant.

COVID RACE GUIDELINES
* Masks are required. Racers may pull down mask after the start of the race. Racers must replace mask when they enter the finish area.
* WA Nordic Cup Races are not open to the public this year.

RACE DETAILS for WNC Finals
Skate Kings Court Sprint Format.
Heats will be based off WA Nordic Cup points.
There will be no Qualifier;

Distance:
1.1km U16 and up
800m U14, U12
600m U10 and younger

This race will be a mixed gender race with no eliminations. In the quarterfinals, the first and second finishers in each heat move up one heat for the semifinals, while the fifth and sixth of each heat move down one heat (except that no one moves up from the first heat or down from the last heat). The same thing happens from the semifinals to the finals. Final race results are the finish order in each consecutive heat: first through sixth places are the finish order of the first heat; seventh through twelfth places are the finish order of the second heat, and so on.

AWARDS & SCORING
No awards will be presented this year; however, these races will be scored using Washington Nordic Cup Guidelines.

RACE SCHEDULE
11:15 am: Course inspection & Race number pick up
12:30 pm: 1.1K will start, followed by the 800M and then finishing with the 600M.

REGISTRATION
Free! Please register online by 5 pm, Friday, February 26th. NO Same-Day Registration.
