WELCOME TO THE STANLEY TRIATHLON


This is a shorter course triathlon - but one of the most pictureque that Tassie has to offer! We advise staying in Stanley for the weekend to soak in the charm and atmosphere of the town.
We need to have an early start to catch the high tide at 0759. At low tide we don't have enough water and there are stong rips.
This beach is rated low risk at high tide.
We have Try Stars 7-12 years (participation only) Mountain bikes are required as the bike course is gravel off road.
Women's Only 12+ years (participation only) Mountain bike or road bike. You choose, have fun with it!
Enticer and Sprint Distance 14+ years Individual or Team (timed) You know the drill. We time this event.

TryStars swim/ wade 100m mountain bike a flat gravel track and flat run 500m on the run track.
Kids can also opt not to do the cycle leg if they enter the triathlon.
Enticer/Womens swim/wade 300m, mountain bike or road bike on the open road 7km. Flat run on the run track 2km
Sprint swim 600m. Road bike along the main highway open road 14km. Run the length of the run track approximately 4.4km.

Winners announced at the end of the event. We'll have prize draws but no goody bags this year.
