Welcome to the

2021 DEVONPORT STATE SERIES TRIATHLON



This is the TAS State Series Event hosted by Cradle Coast Tri Club as part of The Devonport Triathlon.

The swim is a beach start and conditions can be flat to extremely choppy.
The bike ride is on a 4km looped circuit on closed road.
The run consists of 1.25km laps on a flat designated running course.
This is a great course with a great atmosphere and we’ve traditionally had good weather.


Age Groups: Individual Enticers 12+ and Individual Sprint Distance 14-19, 20-39, 40-49 years and 50+ years male and female. We have a teams option in both categories.

The swim: water temperature varies from 15-21'C. Wetsuits are advised.
The bike: entrants are advised to have their bikes serviced prior to the event and be self sufficient if a break down should occur. Please pull off course if you have bike difficulties. Please take care around tight bike turns.

Parking: There is ample parking available near the bluff. Give yourself enough time to park and walk to the check in tent as there are road closures in place.
Toilets are on site at the surf club.The cafe will be open.

Check in: 0800 please come to the check in tent to get your race number. We'll be in a tent near the surf club. You will have a chip number and must return it at the end.


The event start time: 0900
Please note the Mixed Relay precedes this event. Only cross at designated crossing points. Please give yourself ample time to park and walk to check in.


Helmets will be inspected prior to transition check in. Please listen to the race director for any change in timing that may occur for your event.

COVID: entries refunded if home isolation is required.

Winners: will be announced directly after the event when the results are collated and prize money given.
