A Virtual Race for a Marine Lost Too Soon.


Joseph Kuhn, the man, our hero and our legend. Joe is a US Marine, avid runner and lover of life; friends and family, food and drink, music and the Washington Nationals were all important to him. His love of running and exercise led to his diagnosis of Glioblastoma, brain cancer. He never gave up and stayed positive to the very end. Frequently posting on Facebook his favorite saying was “It’s knowing that when I wake up and my feet hit the floor, the devil says, “Shit, he’s awake!”

This memorial run is to honor Joe Kuhn and to support a charity that was near and dear to his heart, the Semper Fi Fund. To honor his work with wounded warriors and his love of helping others to continue even after he is gone. Joe you were and still are Rhonda’s best friend and you will forever be Uncle Joey Bag O’ Donuts, Amber’s Godfather. We would do anything for each other, and this virtual race is our way of saying, “I love you and I’ll meet up with you someday.”
