BURNIE SLSC OCEAN SWIM AND KOZII IRONOCEAN - 5pm UPDATE
The Burnie SLSC have conducted a number of risk assessment throughout the day and consulted with relevant stake holders in relation to the Burnie Ocean Swim and Kozii IronOcean. At this stage we are going ahead with ocean swim and ironocean, However the start times will be pushed back as follows – Ocean Swim 12midday, Kozii IronOcean to follow approximately 1pm.
The current forecast is for very manageable conditions and based on this, there is no suggestion that the current weather warnings will be in place at race time.
However, we won't race if there is a weather warning still in place. The forecast weather does not suggest any weather warnings after 5am.
Burnie SLSC Ocean Swim and Kozii IronOcean are go.
Online registration will be open till 8pm
