Race Information

Sunday 4th October 2020
Start Line: Deep Water Point, Mount Pleasant
Finish Line: Gilbert Fraser Reserve, North Fremantle
Distance: 13km
Note: portaging across the Point Walter Sandbar is not permitted

Racer Check-In Open 7.00 - 7.45am
Briefing/Welcome 7.45 - 8.10am
Race Start 8.30 - 8.36am
Presentations 12.00pm or earlier if possible

Buoyancy Aid: All competitors are encouraged to have and wear a lifejacket. All canoes should have positive buoyancy in the event of capsize.

Age
This race is organised according to ICF rules so enter the age category you are on the 1st January 2020

Classes
Male – 4 draft to a class. Female – 3 craft to a class.
Open class will be constituted first in each craft class, and classes constituted by age thereafter.
The race organisers reserve the right to combine craft to form a class
If you are unsure of your category, enter as Sundry and email develop@paddlewa.asn.au providing your craft, gender and age.

LP - includes plastic skis
S1 - is for composite surf skis

Dash for Cash

Royal Life Saving WA have once again kindly sponsored prize money for the Dash for Cash! The top three male and female paddlers to reach **Canning HWY** will be awarded a cash prize subject to the following terms:
- Must finish the 13km course
- Compete in a single craft (K1, S1)
- Attend the presentations
