Welcome to this years Modified Moonshadow Run! We are excited to be offering a social distanced version of our annual event- here are the details of this years event. $5 Registration benefits our local KidSport Chapter.

Start Times


We are giving you a window of time to complete your run, so there is NO START TIME. In fact, we will be ready to send you out from the starting line anytime between 11 am  - 6:30 pm. You can start your run anytime within that time frame, however, we will control starts to manage number of people gathered to run. Please run with your own cohort. 

Awards


We are focusing on the community coming together for this years run, meaning NO OFFICIAL TIMES OR WINNERS. Our big clock will be up so you can track your own time

Distance:


This year we will have our 2.5KM track set up, It will be one way only with designated passing lanes. You can lap it as many times as you like.

Racer-Packages


At this years modified event we will not be having race packages (no bib numbers or tshirts for pickup) BUT a special completion gift will be ready to 'RING" you in at the finish line.

The Start/Finish: North of the Pool on Mainstreet (895 MainStreet)

Course Description:


The majority of this run consists of gentle rolling shale trails along the creek. These trails are 2 person wide in most places. There are a few short paved sections but any running on the road is kept to a minimum. For this year, we will have a peace officer stationed on course for your safety, but NO WATER OR AID STATIONS. Please Bring your own water for the duration of the run. No pets, bikes, strollers, rollerblades, or skateboards on the running course.

This year' event will be converted to a fully virtual event if Pincher Creek goes into an enhanced outbreak status. Unfortunately, the registration fee cannot be refunded under any circumstance, and benefits our local KidSport Chapter.
