The Olympic Adventure Trail Run (OAT Run) is a one-way trail 12K and half marathon that traverses Kelly Ridge between the Olympic National Park and the Strait of Juan de Fuca in Washington State, all on single-track trail. All this trail goodness, only to be followed by food, beer, and door prizes!
** Food and beer are typically at Harbinger Winery, but this is subject to change due to covid-19 restrictions. But trust us, we are dedicated to getting you your post-race reward!
The 2021 race may be subject to covid requirements for races by WA State. If so, the main adjustment will be wave starts of max 10 people, but we may have to alter other features of the race if needed.
PLEASE NOTE:
* There will be minimal water/electrolyte stations - 1 on the 12K course & 2 on the half marathon.
* There are no T-shirts or medals - runners get an OAT Run pint glass (and contents!), entry into door prize drawing, and a amazing bbq lunch!
* We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate walkers. Runners must be off the course by 1pm.
* The HALF MARATHON starts at 9:30am. Runners must take the 8:45am shuttle from Harbinger Winery in Port Angeles. The race is limited to 135 people, cost $55 until March 15, $60 starting March 16. (under 18 is $35, no increase)

A portion of event proceeds are donated to the Peninsula Trails Coalition, a local non-profit organization dedicated to the construction, maintenance, and promotion of the Olympic Discovery Trail and Olympic Adventure Trail, and also to Back Country Horsemen of Washington Peninsula Chapter.
