PVAW - Photography with Linda Lyons of the Grunewald Guild

Drop-In registration for this event opens 8/19


**Drop-In Registration is limited based on PVAW Summer Registrants' ability to attend events. Drop-In registration opens one week prior to events.

Linda Lyons is an artist and educator. Linda joined the Grunewald Guild staff in January 2020. She received her MFA in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and she currently embraces interdisciplinary practices in her making.

Linda has exhibited in galleries and museums nationwide and has been published in print and web-based periodicals including F-Stop Magazine, Camera Arts Magazine, Curve Magazine, Light Leaks Magazine, and National Public Radio. Her work is also featured in Christopher James’ The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes.

Some of her favorite things include old film cameras, tacos, photo booths, nature, carnivals, cabinets of curiosities, and Natural History Museums.
 
Linda is a magnet for lost dogs and is excellent at making large alternative-process photographs and running very far.
 
Photography Class
Linda will be introducing us to the basics of photography.  We will learn to frame beautiful aspects of nature and architecture in order to capture our special moments.  We will be walking through the property of the Grunewald Guild, experiencing the beauty around every corner.  This less than 2 mile walk will be on varied surfaces with slight elevation gain and loss.

We will meet at 9AM on 8/27 at the Grunewald Guild main parking area located at 19003 River Road, Leavenworth WA 98826.
