The Red River Paddle Challenge is a 45 kilometer (~28 miles) long distance paddling race on the Red River beginning in Winnipeg, Manitoba and ending down river in Lockport, Manitoba. We welcome all types of paddling craft, including kayaks, canoes, surfskis, outrigger canoes, stand up paddleboards, or other craft. Basically our motto is if you can paddle it you can race it! If you don’t see your preferred boat/board class listed here, please contact us.

If you are signing up in either the Tandem or Relay category:
Please enter a Team name. If you do not see your team name in the current list, select Other and then enter your team name. Be creative and have fun with your team name. Each paddler is also required to register for the event. Solo paddlers are not required to provide a team name.

Due to COVID-19, registration is limited as well as only solo or tandem boat types, unless all paddlers are from the same household. In that case, the maximum number of paddlers per boat is the household members plus one additional person. We will update this if anything changes as we would love to see dragon boats and voyageur canoes participate in this year's event.
