In light of the advice received from Triathlon NZ this morning, we have regretfully decided to cancel all club events for the next 6 weeks.
This effects the Proper Crisps Team Triathlon, 22nd March and
Cross Triathlon, 5 April.
We understand how disappointing this is for everyone involved however TriNZs recommendation is based on the welfare of athletes, volunteers and spectators in the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The ultimate team event. Get together with two of your friends, family or workmates for a bit of bonding.
7:45 - Registration opens
8:20 - Race briefing
8:30 - Race Start

The race format is a swim of 200m, a road bike ride of 6km and a run of 1km, repeated three times continuously.

Options:
Team Tag Tri – where each person does a complete triathlon before tagging their next team member on the beach.
Team Tri – where a specialist swimmer, cyclist and runner alternate, completing each discipline three times in the race order.
Loose cannons – you really want to do all nine stages alone, or get eight friends together to do a stage each (or some other combination)? Go for it.

This takes a bit of organisation, so start getting your team together now.

Standard entry is $30 per registration. Team entry is also $30 – there will be no age groups for teams – just a team category.

Discounts apply for Nelson Tri club members 20%, to obtain this discount, enter “Club” in discount code, you must already be a member to receive this discount.
Student discount 50% for U18 Secondary School students, to obtain this discount, enter “Student” in discount code.

If you wish to pay at the event, enter 'pay at event' in discount code. Note, no club discount for this option, please bring cash.
