2021 Eildon to Alexandra Classic River Race, Back Eildon Road, Eildon, Victoria

This race has two legs: Eildon to Thornton (13 km) and Thornton to Alexandra (19 km). Paddlers can do one or both stages.

8.45 AM Registration at the Start Area Leg 1, canoe launch ramp below the Eildon Pondage Wall.
9.30 AM Pre-Race Briefing
10.00 AM Start Leg 1 Grid 1, 2 grids only, and 2nd grid will start 2 minutes after first grid.
10.45 AM to 11.30 AM. All participants expected completion time at Thornton.
11.30 AM to 12:00 PM. Lunch break. Participants completing Leg 2 only must arrive by 11.30 AM to register for the afternoon stage.
12:00 PM Start Leg 2 Grid 1, 2nd grid will start 2 minutes after first grid.
1:15 PM to 2:00 PM. All participants expected completion time at Alexandra.
2:30 PM Presentations and spot prizes at Finish Line.
NOTE: Afternoon Leg 2 start and expected finish times may vary depending on river levels and participant numbers.

n.b. Each paddler must register (if you are paddling a double, both paddlers must enter)

Safety: Wearing of an approved life jacket/PFD (personal flotation device) is mandatory for this event. Wearing of an approved helmet is required for Leg 1 and may be required for Leg 2. All paddlers must read the "e2A Participant and Support Crew Briefing Notes".

This event will run under PV's COVID-Safe plan, which is available on the Paddle Victoria website and will be emailed to participants prior to the event.

• Do not attend if you have symptoms, are unwell or have been instructed to isolate or quarantine.
• Maintain at least 1.5m physical distance between others at all times.
• Observe face covering, cough etiquette and personal hygiene measures.
