The 2020 edition of the Yunca Junior Tour of Southland, the foremost and southernmost junior tour in New Zealand, is set to take place 2 to 4 October. Riders will take on six stages over three days, from road races in Wyndham to a hill climb time trial in Bluff and a city centre criterium in Invercargill.
Entries close Monday 14 September.
Please note that you need to hold a full Cycling New Zealand licence to take part in the event. As the Yunca Junior Tour of Southland is not part of the National Road Series, the exemption allowing riders on a Schools licence to participate does not apply to this event.
Race entry fee - $80 to be paid into the Cycling Southland bank account, Acc nr 031742001458800, with the reference 'Yunca'
The tour will be followed by the National and South Island Schools Track Champs (Tuesday 6th & Wednesday 7th October) and National Track Series Round Three (Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October) making for a full week of road and track racing in the deep south.
