Legacy 100 - RIVERWAY LAGOON

As part of the ANZAC Day commemorations, the Free Radicals Tribe Triathlon Club will host the annual Legacy 100 (Formally now the A100). This is Townsville's defining long course event and is perfectly timed to test your training going forward to Cairns 70.3 or Ironman. No one said it would be easy, in fact it's hard!

The challenge will start before dawn at 5:00am at RIVERWAY LAGOON where you will complete a 1km swim. Next up is a 90 km MYSTERY bike course, with 3 bike check points, each check point will have directions to next check point. The bike leg will be follow by a 9km run following the river to Nathan Street bridge an back to finish arch at Riverway.

You will have completed a 100km challenge in memory of the ANZACs. As you cross the finish line you will be presented with your A100 dog tags in recognition of your efforts. There will be a BBQ breakfast running until the last person has finished. Remember this is not a race, it's a personal challenge. Open to all who have the ability to complete this long course.

Minimum age 18, NO EXCEPTIONS
Refund policy is 50% before 3rd April 2021, 0% after this date.

NOTE: Lights are MANDATORY for the bike leg and you will not be able to take part in the event without them.

All proceeds go to Townsville - Legacy who are dedicated to caring for the families of deceased and incapacitated veterans. Legacy is a voluntary organisation supported by veterans, servicemen and women, and volunteers drawn from all walks of life. The support and services now extend to include the dependants of members of today's Australian Defence Force who lose their lives as a result of their military service.
