The Bowling Green Junior Woman’s Club presents the Cheers to New Year’s 5K Walk/Run Race, Bowling Green's ONLY 5K event held on New Year’s Day! The 2020 edition will be on Wednesday, January 1st at the Loops at Lover’s Lane Soccer Complex. All money raised by this event will allow BGJWC to support the critical work of several non-profit organizations in South-Central Kentucky, including the race’s spotlight beneficiary Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center (BRACAC)!!

The 2020 Cheers to New Year's 5K will be MANUALLY TIMED.

Participants will get a one of a kind t-shirt (while supplies last)!

Pre and post race coffee, water, and snacks will be provided, along with heaters and fun activities!

Medals for overall male and female and first and second male and female finishers will be awarded in the following age groups:

19 and under
20 - 29
30 - 39
40 - 49
50 - 59
60 - 69
70 and over

Race Day Schedule
9:00am - Race day check-in and registration begins
9:45am - Race day check-in and registration ends
10:00am - Race begins
11:30am - Awards ceremony and Prize Giveaways
