WAIVER, RELEASE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
- I acknowledge that participation in the sport of trail running might result in personal injury to myself due to the endurance nature of the sport and the inherent risks associated with trail running on uneven ground with rocks, roots and other wildlife hazards present.
In consideration of my acceptance of entry into this event, I accept these risks during my participation in the Track N Trail Trail Turkey Trot on October 27th, 2019. I agree that
Track N Trail, SCH Holdings Ltd., Track N Trail Ski Club, the City of Edmonton and the Alberta Parks representing Sunridge Ski Hill, directors, officers, employees, coaches, volunteers, members, and agents shall not be liable for any personal injury or loss I might suffer from any such participation, unless such loss shall be caused by the negligence of any one or more of the above-named whilst acting within the scope of their duties.
I grant to Track N Trail, its representatives and employees the right to take photographs and/or video footage of me and my property in connection with the above identified subject.
I agree that Track N Trail may use such photographs and/or video footage of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content. |
