2019 Glen Gallop Community Fun Run & Walk to be held on Sunday, November 10, 2019.


Events include both a 5km run/walk, and a challenging 10km event with elevation gain/loss of 150 metres. Both events are held on public roads and parkland.

Registration is available online at WebScorer.com until 4:00pm on Saturday 9th November 2019. Late entry will be available in person from 8:00am on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

The entry fee is $5 per person for online registrations, and $10 per person (or maximum $20 per family) for late entries. All entry fees are to be paid at the time of bib collection, which will occur between 8:00am and 9:00am at King George V Oval in Glen Innes.

The 10km event will start at 9:30am and the 5km event will start shortly afterwards. The official presentation is scheduled for 11:00am. Finishers must complete the course by 11:00am to be eligible for prizes, to be awarded separately to males and females in the age divisions of OPEN, and 12 & UNDER (5km event only). Additional prizes may be awarded at the discretion of the organising committee. Certificates will be available for all participants completing the event.

Owners may bring a dog on a leash. Participants start as a group in each distance. Participants must follow road rules, give way to all vehicular traffic, and obey directions from the route marshals. During the event a responsible adult or guardian over the age of 18 must stay within arms-reach of children under 11 years of age.

Water will be available on the course, at the 1.1km and 3km distances for the 5km event, and at the 4.3km and 8km distances for the 10km event.

The event is organised by the Glen Gallop Committee Inc. and interested community members, who are all volunteers. Fees are only levied to cover event costs. To register your interest in volunteering or supporting this event, please send us a message.
