Wayne "Big Dog" Joseph Memorial Turkey Trot 5K Run


DATE/TIME: November 28, 2019 at 7:30am

LOCATION: Coconut Island Parking lot

COST: Free

CATEGORIES: Male and Female age groups starting 15 and under, then every 10 years - 7 total turkeys for each male and female category!

Food and charity donations encouraged and accepted

The annual Thanksgiving Day 5K starts at Coconut Island parking area and proceeds along Hilo Bayfront to the turnaround point and back. The route is essentially flat with one bridge rising.

Canned goods are collected for the Salvation Army holiday food program. This is a day to give thanks for all, especially our ability to run and to help others. There are no shirts for this event.
