We're Back!


The 65th Feilding Marathon takes place Saturday 2nd November



Starting in 1955, the Feilding Marathon has been held every year since, making it one of the longest "runs" of any marathon worldwide (No. 9 or 10 on the all time list) and certainly the longest running event in the Southern Hemisphere.

Organised for many years by the Feilding Marathon Club and these days by Feilding Moa Harriers, who are themselves celebrating their 80th anniversary this year.

Unlike many of the corporately owned events in NZ these days, all the proceeds from the event go back into supporting grass-roots club activities including youth development, upgrade of facilities and equipment.

Most of the volunteers you see on course on the day are either Feilding Moa Harrier club members or from Feilding Athletic Club.

We look forward to giving you a very friendly welcome to Feilding whether you are a local or have travelled from far afield.
