Race start is at 1st avenue and the tracks, at 10:00am. near Associated Electrical. You'll see me there.
This is where we will have day of race registration and race number pick up. If you pre-registered, you'll have a race # ready for you.
Please park at Heritage Park (http://www.ashcroftbc.ca/include/get.php?nodeid=189) , that's downtown at Railway and 7th, this is where the BBQ, refreshments, and awards will be.
IF you feel you may take alot longer than most to make the climb. I can start you at 9am, then simply add 1hr to your finishing time. This allows you to get back to the BBQ/awards at an appropriate time for you and your fellow riders.
The BBQ will start at noon, awards will be after the final racer is back to the park (within reason).
There are no aid stations, but there will be water available at race finish.
In the past, we have had requests for people not interested in racing, but still want to participate. These people typically plan on going at their own pace. With these circumstances, I can start you exactly 1 hour before everyone else's start at 10am. Enabling you to make it to the top of the hill and back down in time for the BBQ/Awards.
IF you do not have a cycling BC #, you'll be charged $10 for insurance.
Please bring your cycling BC Card.
Fee is $25 for race which includes the BBQ and refreshments. IGCC members get a $5 discount. Please email me for the code.
You'll be required to sign in with a waiver before Race start.
