Event notes
We're pleased to announce the 2nd JPP Buoy Turn Challenge to be held on Narrabeen Lake on June 2. The premier race will be approximately 10km and will encompass some 30+ buoy turns. With the aim of creating a challenging yet achievable race for all paddlers, the coarse will circumnavigate the lake and use the channel markers as "direction changers"

Running along side of the 10km race there will be a shorter course of approximately 5-7km.

Bridgey's Earth Moving has come on board as our major sponsor and along with our other sponsors (to be announced shortly) we'll be providing a race that not only has a great course, but has the extras that paddlers deserve. There's nothing quite like having a race where you compete against your buddies then come in and chat over free food and drinks.

With a wide range of age divisions we aim to cater for the young through to the older paddlers among us.

We'd like to get as many people at this race as possible so please share this far and wide. The more paddlers who race, the more points on offer for the SPSC series.

Race details and updates will be posted on a regular basis on the NSW SUP Downwind and Race Face Book page. Save the date and get practising those buoy turns.

Adult entry fees are $45, and includes race pack, lunch and drinks. All proceeds from this event are going to Emerge Australia to support patients with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.

Registrations on the day will be open from 8AM and will be CASH ONLY. Be sure to get in early to secure your registration! ON THE DAY REGISTRATIONS WILL BE $50
