2019 Plain Valley Adventure Women's Summer Program


We will explore our backyards to learn about native wildflowers, birds, and mushrooms. Local artists and businesses will share their stories and insider tips with us. For the athletically adventurous, we will have hikes, paddles and rock climbing. Lake Wenatchee Fire & Rescue will give us a class on CPR. Registration is online and open throughout the season.

Who can join?
Women, ages 18 and older.

When and where do we meet?
The group meets May 22 – Sept 25 (excludes July 3), 2019, at 9am on Wednesdays at Plain Hardware.

What does it cost?
The suggested donation for the summer season is $160. 100% of the proceeds go to fund the Plain Valley Nordic Team Junior Program.

Plain Valley Adventure Women (PVAW) is a community of women, ages 18 and older, who support the Plain Valley Nordic Team program through volunteering and by registration donations that go 100% to the Junior Program. The Plain Valley Adventure Women’s program brings women together to explore, connect, improve their outdoor skills, and enjoy the diverse outdoor activities our community offers, in a fun, supportive, non-competitive environment. Plain Valley Ski Trails and Plain Hardware fund and support Plain Valley Adventure Women as part of their goal to build a vibrant cross country ski community in Plain.
