Volcano's 'Ōhi'a Lehua Half Marathon


Come and join us for the first annual Volcano’s ‘Ohi’a Lehua Half Marathon, 5K, and Keiki Dash. The race will begin/end in Volcano Village and continue up Wright Road. Run through a beautiful ‘Ohi’a forest with scenic views of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa.

The race will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2019. Half Marathon will start at 7 a.m., 5K at 7:15 a.m., and Keiki Dash at 10 a.m. The race cut-off time for the Half Marathon is 4 hours.
Packet pick-up location to be determined.

Proceeds to be donated to Hakalau Forest for furthering research of Rapid ‘Ohi’a Death.

Prices:

Half Marathon: $55 until Apr 30, $65 May 1 - Jun 30, $75 Jul 1 - Jul 25
5K: $30 until Apr 30, $35 May 1 - Jun 30, $40 Jul 1 - Jul 25
Keiki Dash: $10 (No T-Shirts will be given for Keiki Dash)

-Thursday, July 25th, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at WikiFresh Hilo
-Friday, July 26th, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Volcano School of Arts & Sciences on Haunani Road
-Saturday, July 27th, 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. at The Volcano School of Arts & Sciences campus on Haunani Road
