Ladies & Gentlemen, it is with great pleasure for the Guernsey Paddle Club to invite you to
THE HERM CHALLENGE (Guernsey SUPer Weekend) on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th of July 2019.
Come and race in Paradise!

A full weekend of SUP action around the beautiful island of Herm and Jethou:
- A long distance open ocean race of approximately 10km (The Herm Challenge)
- A technical race
- KIDS races
- Relay races and more fun events!
- Social gathering and a fun night after the Saturday racing at the Mermaid Pub, open to all paddlers and supporters.

PRIZES AND A LOT OF FUN!



All competitors and supporters will leave from Guernsey harbour Saturday morning 13th at 9am and return at the latest Sunday 14th at 6.30pm. Schedule of races will be according to weather forecast.

Entries are open to rigid or inflatable 12'6 and 14' race boards ONLY or kid's race board (sorry: no leisure board).
Registration fee includes your race bib number for all races over the weekend, a campsite pitch for the Saturday night and the crossing to Herm and back on private boat with all your gear.
Supporters or non-competitors are also welcome to use our charter boat at a special rate, please contact us for booking and more informations at: thehermchallenge@mail.com.

The GPC wish to recommend for all confirmed paddlers with experience in open ocean SUP activity or having participated in SUP races and with a minimum level of fitness to join this event.
You will be asked to sign a disclaimer form and take any risks as your own matter, a risk assessment will be carried out at race briefing before the start.
We are planning a memorable weekend for all but if the weather conditions are deemed unsuitable the Guernsey Paddle Club will have the right to cancel the event and refunds will be made to each competitors.
Numbers are limited and entries will close on 16th of June.
