(In effort to not overwhelm the generous safety personnel this event has been capped at 80 registrations with 90 total participants. If there are any cancellations I'll be happy to go back to the waiting list.)

Welcome to the return of the Paddle Bender and your chance to again visit Dreher Island State Park.

This is a canoe, kayak, SUP, surf ski, prone paddling and outrigger race in the midlands area of South Carolina on beautiful Lake Murray. The Paddle Bender is also fundraiser for PAWS Animal Wildlife Sanctuary. All net proceeds will be donated to this organization.

There is just one course distance option this year. That comes to 9K in length.

The Paddle Bender is open to anyone regardless of ability level. Do not be intimidated by the word "race". Participants take part for fitness, camaraderie and for fun.

Come enjoy the day with us at Dreher Island State Park.

******* T-shirts have been spoken for by the first 70 participants to register. The includes 62 registrations with 8 tandem paddlers. All registrations coming in after May 9th @ 11:22 EST will not have a t-shirt. Sorry! ********
