Broad Street Cycles Semi Classic
This course is a mainstay of Victoria Cycling League (VCL). It's quiet, rolling, and has two 90 corners that will challenge the bunch. The 2.5 km circuit spreads out the hills, and the climb comes just before the finish line, which tests both sprint and endurance ability, and keeps it safe. Parking and registration is about 1 km east on Caleb Pike rd. This is the first year of the NEW Island Youth Road and Track series, offering 'ability category' racing for youth riders age 9-18 years.
Riders need a valid Cycling BC licence (citizen level or higher); day-of licences can be purchased at event sign in. Riders also require a road bike (or cross bike with road tires) for road events. Track bikes will be available on a limited basis at the velodrome events.

Cycling BC license is required for all riders.
Riders can purchase a 'Day-of' license at the event -$5 for riders under 16, $10 for riders 16 and over.
Please bring proof of licensing to each event at sign in.
